Career Prospects exists to help students have a better understanding of the work world. You can find three kinds of information on the website:

  • A summary that includes education requirements, skills, earnings, and job outlooks for specific careers.
  • Statistical tables showing employment projections, numbers of graduates, earnings, percentage of male and female employment, and other facts.

  • Articles on getting an education, looking for and finding a job, various career trends, as well as links to career advice, self-tests, salary, surveys, and internships.

GoVenture

GoVenture has several simulations: Lemonade Stand, Micro Business, and Entrepreneur which are designed for adults and youth. These student activities teach the basics of running a small business. They also offer the opportunity to apply concepts from subjects such as math, finance, career, or general life skills in a fun business setting.

An internet simulation game that gives youth the chance to run a business in Opportunity City at Disney.com. Hot Shot Business blends fun game play with real-world lessons to teach kids entrepreneurial concepts and skills.
